A weekend away doesn't need a full bottle of whisky rattling around in the boot, and it definitely doesn't need you drinking it out of whatever glass tumbler happens to be in the holiday, let's say kitchen, cupboard. That's usually the two options though. Pack an entire bottle you'll barely touch, or make do with the drink once you get there. The Mini Glask Traveller is the third option nobody thinks to pack.
It slips straight into the side pocket of a rucksack or the gap in a suitcase you were going to waste on socks anyway. Unzip the case and there's a 100ml glass Flight Flask ready to fill with whatever you fancy for the trip, a proper whisky nosing glass to drink it from, and the marker pen so you can label the flask with what's actually inside once it's poured. No bottle to carry, no standard tumbler to settle for.
Here's the bit that actually matters, though: the flask is glass on the inside, not metal. Anyone who's decanted a good whisky into a hip flask for the weekend and had it come back tasting faintly of the flask knows why that's not a small detail. The window down the side means you're not guessing at how much is left either, with clean 25ml and 50ml markers so you know exactly where you stand by Saturday night.
And the glass is the real upgrade over the kitchen-cupboard tumbler. Shaped properly, weighted properly, actually built for whisky rather than picked up as part of a set of six from the supermarket. It's been up hillsides and sat on rocks that have no business holding a whisky glass steady, because that's rather the point. It's built for the whisky you actually want to drink on the trip, poured properly, not the whisky you settle for because nothing better was to hand.
Pack it for the weekend you've already booked, or wrap it for someone who's about to book one. Either way it earns its place in the bag by actually getting used rather than a full bottle sitting three-quarters full in the cupboard when you get home.
Fancy carrying more than one dram at a time? The Flight Flask Traveller II is the four-flask version for when a single pour won't cut it. Prefer to build your own combination? The Flight Flask and Mini Ember Nosing Glass are both available on their own too, and pair with everything in the Traveller range.
