Oak & Ember x Lochlea Whisky Giveaway Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to the Oak & Ember x Lochlea Whisky Giveaway. By entering this giveaway, you agree to be bound by the following terms.

1. Promoter

The promoters of this giveaway are Oak & Ember and Lochlea Whisky.

2. Eligibility

• Open to residents of the United Kingdom only unless otherwise stated.
• Entrants must be aged 18 years or over.
• Employees of Oak & Ember, Lochlea Whisky, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
• The promoters reserve the right to verify eligibility, including proof of age where required, and to refuse or disqualify entries where necessary.

3. Giveaway Period

The opening and closing dates of the giveaway will be stated within the giveaway announcement post and/or giveaway webpage.

Entries received after the stated closing date and time will not be counted.

4. How to Enter

To enter the giveaway, participants must:

• Follow @oakandember2024 and @lochleadistillery on Instagram.
• Like the official giveaway post.
• Be subscribed to both the Oak & Ember and Lochlea Whisky newsletters at the time the winner is selected.
• Tag at least one friend in the comments.

Each additional comment tagging a different friend counts as an additional entry.

Sharing the giveaway to your Instagram Story and tagging both accounts is optional and may count as one bonus entry where visible to the promoters.

No purchase is necessary.

5. Winner Selection

The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries unless otherwise stated.

The winner may be contacted via the official Oak & Ember and/or Lochlea Whisky Instagram account or by email where appropriate.

If the winner does not respond within 48 hours of being contacted, the promoters reserve the right to select an alternative winner without further notice.

The promoters reserve the right to verify that all entry requirements have been met before awarding the prize, including age, Instagram follows and newsletter subscriptions.

6. Prizes

The prize consists of:

• 1 x Bottle of Lochlea Whisky
• 1 x Oak & Ember Flight Flask Traveller

The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative will be offered.

The promoters reserve the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value where necessary.

7. Delivery

Delivery is included for UK winners unless otherwise stated.

The promoters are not responsible for delays caused by couriers or circumstances outside of their reasonable control.

Where an alternative delivery location is agreed outside the UK, the winner may be responsible for any applicable import duties, taxes or customs charges.

8. Social Media Disclaimer

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or any other social media platform used to promote the giveaway.

By entering, participants release these platforms from any responsibility relating to the promotion.

9. Publicity

By entering the giveaway, the winner may be asked for permission to allow Oak & Ember and Lochlea Whisky to share their first name, social media handle or submitted content for promotional purposes.

Permission will always be requested before use.

10. Data Protection & Privacy

Any personal data supplied during the course of the giveaway will only be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and the respective Privacy Policies of Oak & Ember and Lochlea Whisky.

By subscribing to the newsletters, entrants agree to receive marketing communications from both brands and may unsubscribe at any time.

Personal information will never be sold to third parties.

11. Right to Amend or Cancel

Oak & Ember and Lochlea Whisky reserve the right to amend, suspend or cancel the giveaway where necessary due to circumstances outside of their control or where fraud, technical failures or other issues compromise the integrity or fairness of the promotion.

12. General

• Incomplete, fraudulent, automated or duplicate entries that violate these Terms & Conditions may be disqualified.
• The promoters reserve the right to verify that all entry requirements have been met before awarding the prize.
• If the selected winner fails to respond within 48 hours or cannot satisfy the eligibility requirements, the promoters reserve the right to redraw the prize and select an alternative winner.
• The promoters' decision regarding any aspect of the giveaway is final.
• This giveaway is open to UK residents. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects any statutory rights available to entrants under applicable UK consumer law.
